EHR Ingestion

MIMIC-IV demo: 107K lab events, 18K prescriptions, 4.5K ICD codes, 140 ICU stays across 100 de-identified patients. Loaded into SQLite with full indexing.

Structured Retrieval

9 specialized tools give Claude scoped access: patient profiles, lab trends, med history, microbiology cultures, cohort stats, and raw SQL. Every claim cites its source table and patient ID.

Clinical Reasoning

Claude Sonnet reasons across structured EHR data — flagging abnormal labs, poly-pharmacy, long LOS, positive cultures, and mortality signals. Multi-step tool use with guardrails.

Traceable Insights

Every response includes source citations (table + patient ID). Designed for explainability and auditability — the same requirements Lotus AI has for clinical AI in production.
